The countdown to the holidays is officially on, and if you still have a few (or a lot) of people to shop for, there’s no need to stress just yet. Instead of braving the crowds at the mall or panicking that there’s not enough time to get a great gift shipped, you just need a few Amazon shopping hacks. Not only will these hacks help you find the perfect gifts, but they’ll also help you save big on those presents. From toys and clothes to electronics, turns out, it pays to procrastinate on your holiday shopping when you have a few great hacks!

Amazon Coupons

We all love saving money with coupons, and Amazon has plenty to offer up on thousands of products. Start by looking at the available coupons on the Amazon Coupons page. This is where you’ll find clickable coupons that can be applied at checkout to a variety of products. These can change daily, so if you see a great coupon, add it to your cart and check out so you don’t miss the deal. You’ll also find coupons being offered by different sellers — but to find these, you’ll need to spend more time searching the product pages to see if they are available. While you’ll find plenty of basic percentages off on products, some coupons require you to buy more than one item to get the discount. So, be sure to read the coupon carefully before buying.

Influencer Shopping

If you spend hours scrolling on Tiktok or Instagram, put that screen time to work and use it to find great deals on Amazon products. Start by searching "Amazon daily deals" or "Amazon promo codes" to find influencers that work with Amazon and Amazon sellers to offer coupons and promo codes on clothes, toys, and home items. Usually, these coupons and promo codes can be stacked, so that means more savings for you. However, you’ll find these deeply discounted items are only offered for one day. Again, that means grab the item when you see it because the deal might be gone tomorrow.

Amazon Warehouse

If you’ve ever wondered what happens to items that are returned to Amazon, the answer is Amazon Warehouse. Instead of just trashing the item, Amazon puts brand-new and like new items back online for sale, but at a discounted price. This means you can snag a previously returned items for less.
If you’ve never ordered anything from Amazon Warehouse, there’s no need to be nervous. If the product is sold by Amazon (be sure to check the seller), they have been checked out and approved for sale.

So, what can you find on Amazon Warehouse? Basically everything! Sometimes, the item being sold is brand new, but was returned because the person who originally purchased it didn’t want the item. Now, it’s considered an "open box" and you’ll save money when you purchase that item. If there are small cosmetic damages to the item or the packaging is damaged, it will be listed that way. There are also lots of electronics that have been refurbished by Amazon and are now being resold at a lesser price.

The good news is that the condition of the item is always stated in the Amazon listing, and if you are looking to save money, this is a great option.

Lightning Deals

Most Amazon shoppers know about Lighting Deals and if you don’t, make sure that you keep an eye on Amazon's Lightning Deals every day. These are time-limited deals and they offer discounts on various products. They can be found on the "Today's Deals" page. These items are usually Prime eligible, so you’ll have them delivered to your front door in just a few days.

Shop Amazon Outlet

Amazon has its own outlet? Yes, and you’ll find it here! It’s full of overstocked and clearance items in a variety of different categories. It’s definitely a lesser known page on Amazon and it’s packed with discounted items.

Get Digital Credit

This hack will save you money on digital items like movies and books that you can treat yourself to after the holidays. When checking out, if you don’t need the quick, two-day shipping from Prime, you can select FREE no-rush shipping. You’ll still get your item under the free shipping, but it will take a few days. You’ll instantly get credits that can be used for movie and book rentals. This is a great way to reward yourself for being such a savvy shopper.
